Jésus Marie Joseph, trois Coeurs en un / 3 Hearts in One

Saint John Eudes said that Saint Joseph was the first of the Saints who had a special devotion to the SACRED HEARTS of JESUS and MARY:

…. As the chaste Spouse of Mary, he writes, Joseph had only one heart with the Most Pure Virgin.

       And Mary having only one Heart with Jesus, Joseph therefore has only one Heart with Jesus and Mary.

        So, as in the Adorable Trinity of the Father of the Son and the Holy Spirit, there are Three Persons who have only one Heart, so in the Trinity of Jesus Mary Joseph, there are Three Hearts who are only ONE HEART. 

Bless Thee, O Eternal Father, for uniting this Great Saint so closely with your Son Jesus and his most worthy Mother

Blessed be Thee, O good Jesus, for giving him your Heart and the Heart of your Most Holy Mother to be his Heart!

Blessed be Thee, O very kind Heart of Mary, for all the affections you have for this Great Saint!”…..

 Saint  Jean Eudes disait que Saint Joseph est le premier des Saints qui ait eu une dévotion particulière aux SACRÉS CŒURS de JÉSUS et de MARIE :

….« En qualité d’Époux de Marie, écrit-il, Joseph n’a eu qu’un cœur avec la Très Pure Vierge.

          Et Marie n’ayant qu’un Cœur avec Jésus, Joseph par conséquent n’a qu’un Cœur avec Jésus et Marie.

          De sorte que, comme dans la Trinité Adorable du Père du Fils et du Saint-Esprit, il y a Trois Personnes qui n’ont qu’un Cœur, ainsi dans la Trinité de Jésus-Marie-Joseph, il y a Trois Cœurs qui ne sont qu’UN CŒUR. 

Soyez béni, ô Père Eternel d’avoir uni si étroitement ce Grand Saint avec votre Fils Jésus et avec sa très digne Mère

Soyez béni, Ô bon Jésus de lui avoir donné votre Cœur et le Cœur de votre très Sainte Mère pour être son Cœur !

Soyez béni, Ô très aimable Cœur de Marie pour toutes les affections que vous avez pour ce Grand Saint ! »….. 

The Great Means of Prayer

The author of The Imperfect Work, speaking of animals, tells us: The Lord has provided the animals with the means to preserve their existence: some race, others claws or wings.  But man was formed in such a way that God alone was all his strength.  Man is therefore totally powerless to obtain his salvation from himself; God wills it so: whatever he has and can have, he must receive it from the help of grace.»

Now this help, his grace, the Lord, according to the ordinary course of His providence grants it only to those who pray, following the famous sentence of Gennade: We believe that no one is going to eternal salvation without a divine invitation; no one, being called, is working his salvation without God’s help. No one, if he does not pray, deserves this help.”

…. Who does not see the consequence: prayer is absolutely necessary for salvation.

PS/ To pray itself is an inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

L’auteur de L’œuvre Imparfaite, parlant des animaux, nous dit : « Le Seigneur a fourni aux animaux de quoi préserver leur existence : aux uns la course, aux autres les griffes ou les ailes.  Mais l’homme a été formé de telle sorte que Dieu, lui seul, fût toute sa force.  L’homme est donc totalement impuissant à se procurer, de lui-même  son salut ; Dieu le voulant ainsi : tout ce qu’il a et peut avoir, il doit le recevoir du secours de la grâce. »

Or, ce secours, la grâce, le Seigneur , selon le cours ordinaire de sa Providence ne l’accorde qu’à celui qui prie, suivant la célèbre sentence de Gennade : « Nous le croyons, personne ne se dirige vers le salut éternel, sans une invitation divine ; Personne, étant appelé, n’opère son salut sans le secours de Dieu. Personne, s’il ne prie, ne mérite ce secours. »

…….Qui ne voit s’en dégager la conséquence : la priere est absolument nécessaire au salut.
